He started his banking career at Citibank Zrt. in 1999, and from being Head of Department at Magyar Takarékszövetkezeti Bank, in 2003 he went to Szentgál és Vidéke Takarékszövetkezet, where he was an Executive Director from 2006, then Chairman-Executive Director. In 2015, the B3 TAKARÉK Szövetkezet was founded under his leadership, fusing ten savings banks. In July 2016, he became the Chairman of the Integrational Organization of Cooperative Credit Institutions (SZHISZ). In December 2016, he was appointed Chairman-CEO of the central bank of Takarék Group (now MTB Magyar Takarékszövetkezeti Bank Zrt.).
He conducted the joining of FHB Kereskedelmi Bank Zrt. and FHB Jelzálogbank Nyrt. (as of 2018, Takarék Kereskedelmi Bank Zrt. and Takarék Jelzálogbank Nyrt.) to the cooperative credit institution integration. He has been managing the most significant reorganization of the local bank system’s history since 1987: In 2017, twelve regional credit institutions were created by fusing fifty-two savings banks, which, in 2019, in two steps, were united into a single, countrywide, universal commercial bank, Takarékbank Zrt. Board member of the Hungarian Banking Association.
