Levente Szabó - Deputy Chief Business Officer of Individual Services
He obtained a degree in Financial Institutions specialization from the College of Finance and Accounting in 1993, and earned a Master’s degree in Economics and German Translation from Janus Pannonius University in 1995.
He started his career in 1995 at the Creditanstalt Group as a Senior Corporate Client Manager.
He joined Hungarian Savings Bank Ltd. in 1999, where he first became the Head of the German Clients Area, and from 2001 he served as the Director of the Corporate and Institutional Clients business unit.
From 2003, he continued his career as Director of the Cooperative Savings Business Division and was elected to the Bank's Supervisory Board.
From 2005 he served as Executive Director and Board Member for five years, and was later appointed Deputy CEO in April 2010. In addition to the Corporate and Institutional Business Unit, he was in charge of Project Management and the IT and Operations Division.
Between 2013 and 2017, as the CEO and member of the Board of Directors of Takarékbank, he was responsible for corporate group management and led the transformation of the entire cooperative savings system.
Between 2013 and 2019, as the CEO of Takarék Kereskedelmi Bank Zrt., he supervised and managed the transformation processes of the institution.
He has been a member of the Board of Directors and Deputy CEO of MTB Ltd. (which manages the Takarék Group since 2017) and Takarékbank Ltd. since 2017 and 2019, respectively.
His other positions include: Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Takarék Invest Ltd., Member of the Board of Directors of Hungarian Post Office Ltd., DBH Investment Ltd. and Takarék Leasing Ltd., and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Takarék Faktorház.
