He started his career at the National Monetary and Capital Market Supervisory Authority, he has been a Manager, then Head of Department at the Hungarian Financial Supervisory Authority (PSZÁF) from 1998.
He was a member of the Board of Directors at Investor Protection Fund (BEVA) between 1998 and 1999. From 2004, he was a Director, then from 2006, he was the Managing Director of PSZÁF’s Supervisory Board of Directors. Between 2006 and 2010, he was a member and permanent invitee of the European CESR, CEBS management boards and professional committees. Between 2008 and 2009, he was one of the determining managers of the crisis control related to the bank sector. From 2010, he was working for OTP Group, at first as Director, during which time he became the Chairman of the Montenegrin CKB Bank’s Board of Directors, where he managed reorganization. After several manager positions at OTP Group, between 8 June 2016 and 31 August 2018, he was the Chairman-CEO of OTP Ingatlan Befektetési Alapkezelő Zrt., as well as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of OTP Alapkezelő Zrt. between September 2016 and 31 August 2018. From 8 June 2016, he was the Chairman of the Board of Directors of OTP Ingatlan Befektetési Alapkezelő Zrt.
In 2017 and 2018, he directed the first significant subsidiary integration of OTP Bank in Croatia. From 10 September 2018, he was the Chairman of the OTP Ingatlan Zrt. Supervisory Board. From 1 September 2018, he was appointed as general Deputy CEO of OTP Bank. Between 2019 and 20 July 2020, he was the Chairman of Board of Directors of OTP Ingatlan Zrt., and member of the Supervisory Board of OTP Group’s Croatian subsidiary bank. From December 2019, he was the Chairman of the Board of Directors of OTP Group’s Slovenian subsidiary bank. Until 20 July 2020, he was the general Deputy CEO of OTP Bank Nyrt.
