Online quiz to promote agriculture
Just as in previous years, thousands of visitors were attracted to the joint competition of the National Association of Agricultural Equipment and Machinery Distributors (MEGFOSZ) and MKB Financial Group, which aimed to promote the Hungarian agricultural sector.
In the online quiz named Agrár IQ 2.0, players were asked questions that gave them an insight into agriculture and the financial issues related to the sector. The online game was first organised after the outbreak of the COVID epidemic, when face-to-face meetings were temporarily impossible. After the overwhelmingly positive response, MEGFOSZ as an organizer decided that it will retain the format even after the closures were lifted.
The theme of the game remained unchanged: the contestants had to play a three-step quiz. The first round was the "Jump-in", where participants were asked questions related to the agricultural and financial sectors, and if they passed the first round, they could continue in the "Hangar", where they had to register and answer more professional questions.
Of the players who answered at least 90 percent of the quiz questions correctly, the first 60 were each awarded a Media Markt voucher worth HUF 10,000.
The organisers reached more than 1.2 million people with the campaign, and around 5,000 people took part in the quiz, gaining an even better understanding of the agricultural engineering profession and financial literacy. All in all, the campaign was effective and successful, and a creative campaign similar to Agrár IQ 2.0 is sure to be implemented in the future, as the organisers remain committed to ensuring that the younger generation, as well as those currently involved in agriculture, continue to grow in love with the profession.
